Purity and Identity
Purity alone doesn't tell the whole story. A peptide can achieve 99% purity by HPLC and still not be the compound listed on the label.
That's why we verify both Purity (HPLC) and Identity (LC-MS). While HPLC measures how pure a sample is, LC-MS confirms the molecular identity of the compound itself, ensuring that what you're purchasing is exactly what it claims to be.
Many suppliers focus solely on purity testing, but in our view, identity verification is the single most important test of all.
Sterility and Endotoxins
Purity and identity tell you what a peptide is, but not whether it has been produced and handled under the highest quality standards.
Sterility testing helps verify the absence of microbial contamination, while endotoxin testing measures bacterial by-products that can remain even after bacteria are removed. While achieving absolute zero endotoxins is not realistic, industry standards establish strict acceptable limits to ensure quality and consistency.
Together, these tests provide an additional layer of confidence beyond purity alone.
