Terms of service

Last updated: August 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your access to and use of the Yougevity Research website and to purchases made through our online store.

By accessing the website, creating an account or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before using the website or purchasing any product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

1. About Yougevity Research

This website and online store are operated by:

Trading name: Yougevity Research
Legal entity: Yougevity Research L.L.C-FZ
Email: support@yougevityresearch.com

2. Research Use Only

Unless expressly stated otherwise, products sold by Yougevity Research are supplied strictly for legitimate laboratory and research purposes only.

They are not intended for human or veterinary consumption, injection, administration, diagnosis, treatment or therapeutic use. Our research products are not sold as medicines, food supplements, cosmetics or medical devices.

By purchasing a research-use-only product, you confirm that you understand its stated classification and intended purpose and that you will use, store, handle and dispose of it lawfully and responsibly.

3. Customer Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement to place an order.

You are responsible for ensuring that your purchase, importation, possession and intended use of each product comply with the laws and regulations applicable in your location.

4. Product Information

We aim to ensure that product descriptions, images, quantities, prices and availability are accurate. Images are provided for presentation purposes and packaging may vary between batches.

Minor differences that do not materially affect the identity, stated quantity or intended research purpose of a product will not necessarily constitute a defect. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty, materially misdescribed or otherwise do not conform to the contract.

5. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products shown in your order. An automated order acknowledgement does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted.

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order or dispatch the products, whichever occurs first.

We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, including where a product is unavailable, payment cannot be confirmed, information provided is incomplete or inaccurate, fraud is suspected or fulfilling the order may breach applicable law. Where payment has already been received for a cancelled order, it will be refunded as appropriate.

6. Prices, Taxes and Payment

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Any applicable taxes, delivery charges or other mandatory costs will be displayed before you complete your order.

Payment must be received or authorised before an order is processed. Payment options available to you will be shown during checkout and may be provided by third-party payment processors.

You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the billing information provided is accurate.

7. Delivery

Available delivery methods, estimated timeframes and charges are shown at checkout. Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but may be affected by carriers, customs authorities and events outside our reasonable control.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. We are not responsible for failed or delayed delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied at checkout.

International orders may be subject to customs inspections, import restrictions, duties, taxes or handling charges imposed by the destination country. Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, the recipient is responsible for these charges.

Please refer to our Shipping Policy for further information about dispatch, tracking, delivery issues and international shipments.

8. Lost or Delayed Shipments

If a shipment appears to be lost or materially delayed, contact us so that we can investigate with the delivery provider.

Where a carrier confirms that a shipment has been lost, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement or refund.

We may also offer additional goodwill assistance at our discretion. Any goodwill remedy is separate from, and does not replace, rights that cannot legally be restricted.

9. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

Requests to cancel, return or obtain a refund are handled in accordance with our Refund Policy and applicable law.

Due to the sensitive nature of our research products and the importance of controlled storage and handling conditions, we cannot normally accept products that have been opened, used, tampered with or stored outside the recommended conditions.

Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including rights relating to faulty, damaged or materially misdescribed goods.

10. Product Testing and Documentation

Where third-party laboratory reports or Certificates of Analysis are published, they relate to the specific sample or batch identified in the relevant report.

Testing methods and parameters may differ between products and batches. Customers should review the reports displayed on the relevant product page before ordering.

Laboratory reports are provided for transparency and research information. They do not constitute medical advice, a guarantee of suitability for a particular experiment or authorisation for any prohibited use.

11. Storage, Handling and Use

You are responsible for following the storage and handling information supplied with the product or displayed on the relevant product page.

You must not use our products unlawfully, resell them using false or misleading claims, remove or alter safety information, or represent them as approved for human or veterinary administration.

12. Website Use

You must not:

  • Use the website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
  • Attempt to interfere with the website’s security or operation.
  • Introduce malicious software, automated attacks or harmful code.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or reproduce website content without permission.
  • Misrepresent your identity, qualifications or intended use of a product.

13. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, the website and its content—including text, branding, graphics, photographs, product descriptions, layouts and downloadable materials—are owned by or licensed to Yougevity Research. They may not be copied, reproduced, republished, distributed or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.

14. Third-Party Services and Links

The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment, fulfilment, analytics and delivery providers. We are not responsible for the content or availability of independent third-party websites, although this does not exclude responsibility that we are legally required to retain.

15. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or goods that do not meet rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Subject to the paragraph above, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed, losses caused by misuse or prohibited use of a product, or losses resulting from failure to follow supplied storage and handling information.

Where you purchase wholly for business or professional purposes, we will not be responsible for loss of profit, revenue, business, opportunity, goodwill or anticipated savings, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the website, you acknowledge that your information may also be processed by service providers involved in operating the store, processing payments and fulfilling orders.

17. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms and any contract formed through the website are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction over disputes, except that consumers may retain the benefit of mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules applicable in the country where they live.

18. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business operations or legal obligations. The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated revision date. Changes will not retrospectively alter orders already accepted unless required by law or agreed with you.
